Double header in the east bay this weekend for 2 different school fundraisers! Fiesta on Friday and Coachella on Saturday… mucho tequila was had 🙃🌸

We didn’t plan for it, but a few circumstances led to us taking a break from social media… the most noteworthy being that we added a new BABY to the Bar Baby fam! Instagram, meet Cooper! ✨

Between life with 3 kiddos, prioritizing the prep/execution of our booked bar events, and keeping up with email inquiries… we’re still in the midst of navigating our new routine and candidly, creating social content had to take a temporary back seat to those other priorities these past few months.

As a team that is passionate about what we do and that genuinely LOVES the community we get to share it all with, we just wanted to check-in to say HELLO and we’re still here, busy behind the scenes. Stay tuned as we’ll be back soon with lots of good cocktail content, updates to our bar packages/client guide for 2025, and who knows - maybe some other fun surprises!

The votes are in… spotlight on: Tequila!

This is a simple drink to make that tastes anything but… you get sweet, spicy, and slightly smoky in every sip! Perfect to enjoy with friends on the warmer days ahead.

BB Spicy Sunrise
1.75oz Blanco Tequila25oz Mezcal
1oz Pineapple Juice
1oz Lemon Juice
1oz Guava Nectar75oz Serrano Simple Syrup

For the syrup: Mix equal parts water and sugar (at least 1 cup each) in a saucepan. Add 10+ Serrano peppers and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and cover, letting peppers soak in syrup for 1 hour. Store extra syrup in a mason jar in your fridge.

For the drink: Add all components to cocktail shaker and shake with ice. Pour over fresh ice and garnish with a pineapple wedge (fresh or dehydrated).

These Spiced Chai White Russians are doing the trick lately. Make these for HH and/or as an after dinner treat, and thank us later…

2oz vodka
1.5oz kahlua
1oz cream
1.5oz spiced vanilla chai syrup (combine 1 cup of concentrated chai tea and 1/3 cup sugar… boil for 5 min and remove from heat… stir in 1 tbsp vanilla extract and let it cool before using).
