All of the adult coaches, league delegates, and officers volunteer their time and effort for the good of the youth of the community. Just in case you missed it before… our 2008 Girls Warrington Lightning are going to Nationals in two weeks and can use our support. ⚽️🏆⚽️
After winning the Eastern PA State Championship, the Warrington Lightning (2008 Girls) advanced to the National level of the President’s Cup in Kansas on July 11th-16th. This opportunity to win a National Championship came after going 4-0 in the Regional Championship this past weekend in West Virginia. Not only did they win all 4 games, through amazing team play, they gave up 0 goals and scored 11 across their four games. The Lightning are now one of the final eight teams in the country, competing for the National Championship! This is history for WSC being the first team to represent the club at the national level and we could not be prouder of the team and the work they put in to earn this opportunity.
The team has formed a fundraising subcommittee to help raise money for the upcoming trip to Kansas. 100% of these fundraisers will be provided to the team to offset the cost of the trip for the girls and their families. Due to the timing of the event being so soon (July 11th – July 16th), we are asking the community to support these ladies in their effort to win Nationals.
Below are the options to help support the team. Please consider donating and/or participating in the team's fundraisers. Please feel free to pass this information along to any family or friends who might like to support the team.

Lottery raffle (see flyer below). We are raffling off $500 worth of scratch off tickets. $10 = 1 chance or $30 = 5 chances

Rita’s Scoop and Donate – On Saturday, June 29th from 12:00PM to 9:00PM – Rita’s of rt 611 and Bristol rd (Warrington Shopping Center, 1380 Easton Road) is hosting a scoop and donate event. 20% of their total sales that day will be donated to the team.
