💗💙Happy Monday Best Friends!

⁉️Have you ever done something you didn’t want to, but you do it because of pressure from your friends?

💡Peer pressure is when you choose to do something you wouldn’t otherwise do, because you want to feel accepted and valued by your friends. Some teenagers might choose to try things they normally wouldn’t be interested in, like drinking.

💫Two more ways to fight peer pressure:
💗Be your own friend: Feeling good about yourself is one of the most effective ways to remain true to your individuality
💙Look for your talents: Develop your skills, find something that you like and makes you feel good about yourself.

We had such an amazing time with the students and teachers/ staff at Two Rivers Public Charter School this summer during our Kindness Is Cooler seminar! 93% of the participants wrote that the seminar was “good: they learned a lot” or “great: they learned and had fun”. And 81% of them said that that the seminar today helped them. Check out some pictures from the event and some quotes we received. We can’t wait to see them all again! 💙
