Meet Aidan, a precious little boy almost lost to abortion!💙
Dealing with a complicated divorce and working hard to raise five kids, Rose was seeking a fresh start with someone new when everything fell apart. She became pregnant and soon found out that the man she was seeing had concealed the fact that he was already married. In addition to the difficulties in her personal life, Rose had also recently changed jobs, leading to a significant reduction in her income. Now facing an unplanned pregnancy largely on her own, all of these factors began to compound and left her feeling desperate.
Rose had always held pro-life convictions. She chose life for her firstborn when she became pregnant as a teenager. But surrounded by so much darkness, she wondered if abortion was her only solution. Thankfully, she was a supporter of Them Live and decided to reach out. They were happy to come alongside her during her time of need. Rose’s counselor worked with her on finding local resources and provided a listening ear for her to talk through everything that was going on in her life. Rose endured a lot throughout her pregnancy, but through it all, she remained strong, motivated by her children, and relied on God.
On May 5th, Aidan was born, and Rose was so happy to finally have him in her arms. We applaud her bravery and perseverance amidst incredibly difficult circumstances. Please keep her family in your prayers as she navigates the future with her new baby!🙏

HUGE victory at the Supreme Court today, who voted 6-3 to overturn the historic 1984 Chevron v. Natural Resources Defense Council ruling, which had called for judicial deference to federal agencies in situations where the law is unclear.

The move will now make it much easier for the courts to overrule federal regulations and for judges to issue their best interpretation of the law on a slew of matters including Abortion. This has major positive implications on the emergency room abortions case (EMTALA) that was recently sent back to the lower courts. Further legal insight into EMTALA and the FDA v. AHM cases can be found on our website.

The Supreme Court issued its decision this morning in Moyle v. United States, the case that considers whether the Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act (EMTALA) requires emergency room medical personnel to perform “stabilizing” abortions in certain circumstances. Congress passed EMTALA to address patient dumping and protect women in active labor as well as their unborn children. The statute says nothing about abortion.
