And a fun tidbit from our data; 9 out of 10 older adults who are living in congregate settings are able to decorate their living spaces how they want. That’s a whole lot of silly string and skeletons!! 👻🎃🦇
Happy Disability Employment Awareness Month from all of us here at NCI-AD! This month we celebrate the great strides made towards equity in disability employment. Did you know that according to our Adult Consumer Survey 41% of people 60 and younger with a physical disability were not working, but said they wanted a paid job in 2018, but only 37% of those people said someone talked about them having a job? The more you know!!
