AMAR Group, LLC was invited to help celebrate the relaunch of Coalition for Nonprofit Housing & Economic Development (CNHED) DC Small Biz Help website, a one-stop resource hub for small businesses. The newly revamped website will connect small businesses to the various services and programs, lenders, and government agencies, providing support, resources, and essential information to help them plan, start, and grow their businesses in DC.

Celebrating the Cohort IV graduates with CNHED Elevate program. AMAR Group, LLC , Genell Anderson, AIA was featured in the 2024 yearbook as an Alumni.

CNHED (Coalition for Nonprofit Housing and Economic Development) has partnered with the George Washington University School of Business to develop a training for local entrepreneurs in Washington, D.C. through the new ELEVATE program.

E.L.E.V.A.T.E., which stands for Executive Leadership Education Venture Advancing Talented Entrepreneurs. This program aims to provide best-in-class training to minority small businesses located in DC to acquire new skills that will allow them to more effectively and efficiently manage their business’ products and services and increase revenue and employment.

Genell Anderson graduated with ten others as part of the first cohort of entrepreneurs and leaders sponsored by George Washington Business School (GW) and Coalition for Nonprofit Housing and Economic Development (CNHED). The ELEVATE Cohort met over a period of several months studying to more effectively and efficiently manage their business' products and services while increasing revenue and employment.

CNHED’s DC Community Anchor Partnership (DCAP) is a collaborative of local “anchor institutions” – hospitals, universities, and utility companies – harnessing their purchasing power to grow DC-based minority-owned business enterprises (DC MBEs). Led by CNHED and co-convened with the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development (DMPED), DCAP works with its Anchor Members to re-engineer institutional procurement systems and create equitable access to contract opportunities.

AMAR Group is proud to be a part of the DCAP, and we look forward to what this connection will bring in the future!

A recent project of AMAR Group, LLC, the DCity Smokehouse's newest location is an excellent place to grab a bite to eat.
