Had an incredible time as a panelist at the first-ever Fixing Congress event at the University of Pennsylvania Biden Center last week!

It was a day filled with meaningful discussions on how we can push for more solutions and less polarization in Congress.

Grateful for the chance to connect with old friends and fellow former members of the House and Senate.

We are glad to see the State Court of Appeals threw out the Democrats’ gerrymandered congressional maps. The people of New York State voted for a fair redistricting process, not for Democrats to use their one-party rule of Albany to tip the scales in their favor. We applaud the 4 Judges who chose the will of the people over partisan politics.

We were proud to be on the list of House Members to be officially sanctioned by Russia. Being put on this permanent ‘stop list’ by a dictator like Putin can only be seen as a badge of honor. Watching the atrocities that Putin is committing on a daily basis against the people of Ukraine is heartbreaking, and it must stop. American leadership must project to Russia that we will achieve peace through strength.

We care about lowering the out-of-pocket cost of insulin for those impacted by diabetes. Unfortunately, this bill does nothing to lower the true cost of insulin; it uses government price-setting to shift those costs elsewhere. Rather than engage in pure partisan politics like yesterday's vote, we have been working for months on a bipartisan, bicameral bill with Representative DeGette in the House and Senator Susan Collins and Senator Shaheen in the Senate to achieve a solution to the root causes of this problem and solve it once and for all. All indications are we will get such a bill to the President's desk soon.
