We support all our youth in a successful new school year!

“Lord, we ask that you surround students with peace as they begin a new year of classes. Give them a passion for learning new things and bless their hard work over the coming months. Surprise them with unexpected moments of joy. Guard their hearts against peer pressure and help them to be a light to those around them. Amen!”

On Easter Sunday we celebrate the love, God the Father has for us. He
made the ultimate sacrifice for the sins of humanity and arose from the
dead that we may have eternal life.

As Christians, during this Lenten season, we observe the highest of holy
days on Resurrection Sunday. In so doing, we receive the gifts of the spirit
as the blessings and favor of a risen savior.

The Georgiana Thomas Grand Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star-PHA,
wish you and your family, a beautifully blessed and enjoyable Easter!

Happy Resurrection Sunday!

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that
whosever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
John 3:16

June 19 commemorates the freedom of all enslaved people in the United States. In 2021, President Biden signed legislation making Juneteenth a federal holiday, stating, “All Americans can feel the power of this day, and learn from our history.”

The Georgiana Thomas Grand Chapter wishes you the joy of celebration as we observe the third annual Juneteenth National Independence Day, focused on celebrating our history. May your day be filled in jubilant fellowship, self-identity and cultural traditions.

Happy Juneteenth!

“A people without knowledge of their past history, origin and culture is like a tree without roots.”
