Lord…I humbly trust YOU!!!

I am still trying to process how I feel about today. When you are a servant and you allow God to use you as a vessel, the first thing you must do is master is the art of having an unselfish heart, the will…no matter what it looks like to bless others, and most importantly to take up your cross daily and allow God to lead, all while giving Him the glory!!!

When Dr. Carolyn White- Washington contacted me to inform me I had been selected as an honoree for the Sister4Sisters, Inc. 2023 Love Cares Award, I kept it close to my heart and asked God why me? His response was, my daughter…why not you?!?!?

As a conqueror of domestic violence and sexual assault, as well as an advocate, it is truly my hearts desire to give others hope and to let them know that they too have the power to overcome and to walk in healing & freedom!

It is my prayer that God will continue to lead me in places, paths and spaces were most dare not to cross; and that He continues to use me openly and transparently to reveal the ugly truth regarding domestic violence, intimate partner violence, and sexual assault. As long as I have breath in my body, I will continue to be Lynda’s Voice, as well as all of those whose voices have been silenced.

Thank you so much, Dr. Carolyn White-Washington, my entire Sister4Sisters, Inc. family, and my fellow advocates. Thankful and grateful to my family and loved ones for your love and continued support on this journey.
