This summer, the YMCA of Metropolitan Washington is partnering with DC Government to spread awareness about SUN Bucks! SUN Bucks is a new program that gives families $120 per eligible student to buy groceries.
Who is eligible? Students who:
-- Attend a District of Columbia Public School, a DC public charter school, or a DC private school participating in the National School Lunch Program;
-- Are enrolled in Pre-K, elementary or secondary school, or are in an adult learner; and
-- Live in a household with an annual income less than or equal to 185% of the federal poverty level
