Dear Leaders and Volunteers,
The M3 Disaster Relief Volunteer Team continues to monitor Tropical Storm Beryl. Beryl is forecast to strengthen into a Hurricane again before making landfall.
On the forecast track, Beryl's center is expected to land on the middle Texas coast early Monday. Maximum sustained winds remain near 65 mph (100 km/h) with higher gusts. Continued strengthening is expected overnight before Beryl reaches the Texas coast.
As part of our Hurricane Season preparedness measures, we are currently pre-staging to be ready to go when deemed safe.

Last night, devastating tornadoes tore through the heartland of the U.S., ripping apart communities, homes, and lives.
Reports are still coming in, but it’s clear that these storms left unimaginable destruction and despair in their wake. Right now, our hearts are aching for those affected by this tragedy, and we are mobilizing our resources to provide immediate disaster relief and support to the people of Nebraska.
We’re committed to standing with victims during this difficult time.
We also ask that you please pray for us as we head towards Nebraska, and for the all those affected by these terrible storms.
Together, through the power of prayer and compassion, we can make a tangible difference in the lives of shattered people in Nebraska. Thank you for your unwavering support and solidarity during this critical time. Stay safe, and God bless you.

The M3 Disaster Relief Volunteer Team
Today we see so much need across the U.S. With all the bad weather and of course we are still in Louisiana helping the tornado victims in Slidel.
The fires in Texas continue, and the Smokehouse Creek fire is now the largest wildfire in Texas history. With nearly 1.1 million burned acres in the Panhandle, it has killed thousands of livestock, incinerated crops, and destroyed hundreds of structures along its path. Firefighters are focusing on holding the line of the record-setting Smokehouse Creek fire in Hutchinson County.
As of Wednesday morning, firefighters had contained 44% of the fire. Fire lines are being reinforced, and mop-up within the fire continues. Air support will continue to assist with flare-ups where they are able. The safety of crews continues to be the highest priority.
The M3Disaster Relief Team is staying busy distributing supplies and helping meet new needs that are being requested. We continue to help support several distribution hubs.
If you know someone or a church impacted by these fires, please let us know if they need disaster relief assistance.
We will not be requesting volunteers to help serve.
Thank you for praying for Texas and for our team on the ground.

Dear M3 Disaster Relief Volunteer Team,
Idalia is now forecast to become a major hurricane before it reaches the Gulf coast of Florida. The risk continues to increase for storm surge and dangerous hurricane-force winds along portions of the west coast of Florida and the Florida Panhandle.
Our deployment team is closely monitoring the situation for development of Tropical Storm Idalia. We are actively preparing supplies, equipment, and personnel for landfall. Our team is in the process of pre-staging out of harm’s way.
If you live an area that is projected to be impacted, we encourage you to take every precaution necessary.
Thank you in advance for joining us as we pray for those who may be impacted once the storm makes landfall.
Sincerely,
Robert and the whole East Coast Team
Dear M3 Disaster Relief Volunteer Team,
Last night was a long night full of devastating and deadly storms. Over 60 tornado reports across multiple states were recorded by the National Weather Service’s Storm Prediction Center. At least 18 people have been killed as tornadoes hit towns and cities across the South and Midwest.
Reports continue to pour in, and damage is widespread. Tornadoes plowed through communities, reducing rooftops to splinters, toppling vehicles, and scattering personal belongings across lawns and roadways. Our hearts are heavy at so much loss and our prayers go out to those impacted.
Our assessment team is heading to Little Rock, AR. today to begin making assessments. They will connect with partners and churches in Little Rock and Wynne, determining the greatest need. We plan to have a decision on the form of our response once the assessment has concluded.
At this current time, we are asking for your prayers for those who have been affected by these devastating tornadoes.
We encourage you to monitor your email for real-time alerts and updates.
Thank you so much for your support and your prayers.
