It’s graduation season, and millions of students are graduating from universities around the world. Sadly, graduations will not be happening in Gaza, where universities have been destroyed. It’s important that we use our voices to support liberation for all people, which includes the right to education. Big thank you to Professor Leila Mansouri who had this idea for her graduation stole — we were thrilled to make it happen for her. 🍉🕊️

As organizers and sponsors of Norooz Market, it has always meant more than just a celebration of the Spring holiday. We wanted to partake in creating a time of togetherness, of exchange, of life that feels like home and brings us joy. Local marketplaces fulfill all the senses, immersing us in culture and community while meeting the people who make the smells, tastes, sounds, sights, and feelings of life possible.
That’s why, for us, Norooz Market is a celebration of cultural exchange and the healing feelings of connectedness those exchanges can bring. We can’t wait to see you there. 🤍, Mina + Hesam
