It's always a challenge in when teeth fracture at the gum line. Many dentists will often suggest removal of the tooth and opt for the more "predictable" implant therapy.
I believe that we can better serve this patient by utilizing very strict restorative protocols to save her tooth. It's important to educate patient that even if the treatment fails 10-20-30 years down the road, she will have preserved the bone in this potential future implant site for that same period of time.
We are thrilled with this final esthetic result and tissue health. Most importantly, so is the patient!

Accidents happen, and unfortunately the most prominent teeth, the central incisors, are often involved. We are confident in our abilities to restore some of the most severely traumatized teeth, especially in this case. 💪🦷
It's vital to protect the pulp where the blood vessels and nerves reside. We treated teeth #8 and #9 with a highly detailed core build-up protocol to sterilize and clean the teeth before bonding any dental materials. Oftentimes dental treatments will fail due to contaminated materials or poorly fitting restorations. Fortunately for this patient, these teeth were restored to ideal shape, color, and function. 👌
