Second Grade had a blast learning about fossils, rainforest animals, and what superpowers animals have to protect themselves in the wild!

This week, our Helping Hands Club finished their final meeting with some crafting and tie dye to celebrate!🎨 All of our scholars have worked so hard to support our teachers after-school this year. Special shoutout to Ms.Henry, Ms.Hawthorne, and Ms.Kilburn for signing up TWICE to recieve a Helping Hand.❤️🤝

Today 1st grade showcased their habitat dioramas to their grade level! Students worked hard throughout their unit on Animal Survival by planning, crafting, and sharing their animal habitat. Ms.Nelson’s class explored ocean animals. Ms.Chase’s class did forest animals. Ms.Sanchez’ class did safari animals. SHOUTOUT 1st Graders! 🦒🦜🐙🦈🦥🐅🪸

Some of our students had the opportunity to attend the National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature announcement at The Library of Congress today. We got to hear from the previous ambassador, and the new ambassador . It was inspiring and uplifting. Each student also received a signed copy of Meg’s book! 📚 💜 Thank you to the staff !

We had such a great time today at the Capitol! Students were able to go on a tour and even had the opportunity to work in groups to make a new holiday! ❤️❤️❤️
