We're hosting Janelle Farkas from the Office of Career and Professional Development on Wednesday (10/27) at 7pm in Smith Hall 104. She will be giving an amazing Career Resources & Internship Search presentation, and attendees will gain 1 point towards their active membership (5 points total).

Hello, NSCS Members! We will be hosting our next event on Wednesday, October 13th at 7:00 pm in SH-104! This will be a speaker event with our advisor, Dr. Julye Bidmead:
Dr. Bidmead is the Director of the Center for Undergraduate Excellence, the Director of the Fellowships and Scholars Program, and the Interim Chair of the Department of Religious Studies. Her most recent research project, Recovering Women's Rituals in the Ancient Near East (Equinox Press), explores women's religious roles and rites of passage in ancient Israel, Mesopotamia, and Canaan. Dr. Bidmead is currently the Education Director and field archaeologist on the Jezreel Expedition, where she spends her summers excavating the world of the ancient Israelites.
Members who attend this event will receive 1 point towards their active membership status. We hope to see you all there!
Hello, Chapman NSCS Members!
We will be hosting our next event on Wednesday, September 29th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm in the Leatherby Libraries Room 323! This will be our first service event of the year where we will be writing virtual letters to patients at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a nonprofit that aims to find cures for cancer while treating sick children at no cost to their families.
Stop by for ten minutes any time from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm that day to write a letter or two, grab a homemade treat, and receive two points towards your active membership status!
Make sure to bring a laptop or other electronic device :) Hope to see you there!
