Cold War Gallery - U.S. Navy Museum
A new Cold War Gallery to tell the story of the Navy's role in our nation's 50-year conflict with the Soviet Union.
The Naval Historical Foundation is raising funds to support its construction, and also maintains this page.
The National Museum of the United States Navy and the Cold War Gallery will be closed all day on Sunday, November 10, 2013, so that the Washington Navy Yard can complete critical maintenance projects on various buildings. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause those wishing to visit the Navy's national museum, which will reopen at 10:00 am on Monday, November 11, 2013 (the Museum will operate on holiday hours on Veteran's Day).
