Driving Passion Towards Sustainable Development

07/05/2020

HOW TO DEVELOP A STRONG PRESENCE AND PERSONALITY?

1. Don’t talk too much. Talk only when it’s needed.

2. Talk in a slow, understandable manner. And smile while talking.

3. Don’t laugh too much. This is important. Laugh only enough to maintain your self-respect. Too much laughing results in loss of respect and a good image.
4. Be confident. Don’t worry, this is not cliché advice. I’ll tell you how. First of all, if a topic is under discussion, don’t just dive in just for the sake of seeming like a confident guy. People are intelligent enough to detect fake confidence. To be able to talk about the topic, read the news, blogs, be acquainted with the latest trends in politics, technology, and/or whatever interests you, beforehand. This way, you’d have a strong grip on the topic and you’d be able to discuss these in greater detail. And while discussing the topic, always acknowledge other people’s opinions and don’t criticize directly but also have a firm ground of your own opinions at the same time. While conveying a message, opinion, or speech, do a little homework beforehand. (Keep the points 1, 2, & 3 in your mind while doing so).

5. Don’t lean forward while standing. Stand firm and straight with your chest wide open but wide enough to not be arrogant.

6. Maintain eye contact while talking. This may take practice. A word of caution though: this may vary depending on the culture you are in.

7. When it comes to making decisions, be very good at it. Do your homework beforehand and once you make a decision, stand by it. For that reason, do your homework well and take your time.

8. Have a passion for something extracurricular and be very good at it. For example, sports, games, etc.

9. Remember, the focus is the key. Be a very focused person. Have a laser-like focus. Again, this is not easy and requires practice and consistency.

10. Try to have a good sense of humor but don’t make jokes a lot. Remain serious but not to a greater extent. A good sense of humor is also important so don’t get this wrong.

11. Remember, remaining serious is a skill of its own. Read point 9 again. The focus will help you remain serious. Looking serious may also increase your image among the community.

12. While shaking hands have a firm grip. This is a very important personality trait.

13. Remember, good grammar is sexy.

14. Be enthusiastic and positive at the same time. Enthusiasm for negative things will lead you astray.

15. This one is the most important. Maintain a cool attitude in every situation and be very EMOTIONALLY INTELLIGENT.

16. Remember, manners maketh man. Ethics are everything.

17. This one is important, develop an ability to listen to others. According to Dale Carnegie, the greatest conversationalist is the one who doesn’t converse more but listen to the other person more. Read the book “How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie”.

18. Speaking of which, read books, a lot of books. The one common pattern among all the successful persons is that they all read books.
Remember, failure is inevitable. Not giving up is the key. Never give up. Although, this may seem like an off-topic point ‘not giving up’ attitude inspires those around you.

I would like to seize this moment to congratulate everyone opportune to witness the new year believe me it is not by your power not strength... God's grace.

Mind you, the new year paradox is tentative and just another day and night which is what was really created by God.

It is worthy to note, that the holy book instruct us to number our days.

Majority have their plans/goals lined up. As you know goals don't just get scored. It is the sum total of SMART WORK and HARD WORK combined.

Achieving your goals is both easy and draconian, the KEY is INTENTIONALITY and being strategic.... Don't forget to get an accountability partner....

Congratulations on hitting your TARGETS and SCORING those GOALS...

Watch out for ways to be intentional and move closer to achieving those dreams.... Cheers!!!

DEATH!!

Death! Death!! Death!!

According to Wikipedia,
Death is the permanent cessation of all biological functions that sustain a living organism.
Phenomy which commonly brings about death include, but not limited to aging, prediation, malnutrition, disease, su***de, homicide, starvation, dyhdration, and accidents or major trauma resulting in terminal injury. In most cases, bodies of living organisms begin to decompose shortly after death.

Death, particularly the death of humans has commonly been considered a sad or unpleasant occasion, due to the affection for the being that has died and the termination of social and familial bonds with the deceased.

As leaders we shouldnt live in the denial that death is at the doorstep knocking and we can accommodate it at anytime.

Authentic Leaders should endeavor to put it in mind that they might this very moment could be their last.

Yesterday, I was discussing with someone and I drifted to the fact that this could be our last meeting, though I was been jocular and i am yet to achieve anything not to talk of my impact to lifes which is still very minimal and if avail the golden opportunity of longitivity of life i want to be remember for been an impact maker with my name written with the imdelible pen of time in the heart of everyone, but who knows what is in stock for him/her.

Death is considered a sacred topic you can't or shouldn't discuss often in this clime and everyone lives in fear of it alas, we are all cursed to scrumble to its claws though at our differs time. The one million dollar question is are you ready??

Steve Jobs said and I quote "If you live each day as if it was your last, someday you will most certainly be right".

Jobs would look in the mirror each day and ask himself, if this were the last day of his life would he want to spend it doing what he was about to do?

Let us live every moment like its our last.
Let's treat everyone with love and take the world as if we are babes. Live and let live!!.

*DON'T CONTINUE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO PURSUE PURPOSE*

You sure willing to make beautiful and colorful your life?

you haven't gone past redemption yet. You still have a music unsung.

In Okinawa, purpose is called *Ikigai* (pronounced ee-key_guy) meaning, your reason for LIVING, not existing.

You don't want to wake up at 75 and start saying ''what am I here for?''.Really? after 3 children and 5 grandchildren?

Right now, stop procrastinating and DISCOVER IT. There is no time.
Something in you needs to be found!
Something wants to be let out!

Your "fantasy life" won't come as a product of wishing, you have to work hard to get anything out of life

Working hard will grow your passion and success is achievable... Like that? 😀😀

So, DISCOVER & WORK HARD at it.

Remember, life is like an inverted pyramid🙃 The bottom is very crowded, very suffocating,There's plenty of room at the top

See you there! 😉
