Washington Post photographer Salwan Georges will be one of the speakers joining us for our conversations with Photographers of the Year on Friday, April 22. Georges has spent nearly two months covering the Russia-Ukraine war, and he will be sharing his photographs and experiences from 3:15-4 p.m. in Smith Forum at Reynolds Journalism Institute. These conversations are free and open to all.

Georges is a Pulitzer Prize-winning photojournalist and was named the 78th Photographer of the Year, International, in 2021 by POYi. His work on Middle Eastern communities in the U.S. has been added to a collection at the Library of Congress in D.C and exhibited at the Arab American National Museum.
