Internship Opportunity!
A few more internship spots have opened up at my clinic in DC.
The internship is primarily in the herbal dispensary. It is a great chance to get your hands on the herbs! There is no substitute for this type of learning. There is so much information that is transmitted by simply having the herbs in our hands.
You will also have the opportunity to make many types of medicines – liniments, ointments, creams, powders, soaks, poltices, alchemical pills, etc.
There will also be opportunities to assist in the treatment rooms.
Additionally, we have monthly Q&A sessions for the interns to ask questions about any topic in CM. We discuss cases, the nature of healing, and of course herbs and acupuncture!
The commitment is one shift (4-5 hours) per week with a minimum of 6 months.

Dr. Evan M. Rabinowitz is the founder of Yao Shan Center for Chinese Medicine in Washington, DC. where he maintains his clinical practice. Evan is both a clinician and teacher. Currently, he is a professor at Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts, Asheville. He is the former Director of Chinese Herbal Medicine at the Maryland University of Integrative Health (MUIH) where during his 8 year tenure he helped create the University's Masters and Doctorate programs in Oriental Medicine. He is a former instructor and Chinese herbal supervisor at the Academy for Five Element Acupuncture, Gainesville. Evan has an active private teaching schedule offering continuing education for practitioners across the country. Evan has been studying extensively with Jeffrey Yuen for the last fourteen years. He is a graduate of George Washington University (B.A.), Traditional Acupuncture Institute (M.Ac.) and Maryland University of Integrative Health (D.Ac.).
