Lace up your blue suede shoes and get your tickets now! Coming April 24th, Elvis at 21 is the first of several Sound and Vision pop up events in the newly renovated !

Chef and owner , a rocker at heart, will present food and drink inspired by the Mississippi native. Chris Murray, visionary curator of the former, beloved Govinda Gallery in DC, will guide guests through the gifted eye of Alfred Wertheimer’s photographs during Elvis Presley’s prime age of 21!

Wertheimer’s photographs, as seen in his book, Elvis at 21, documents the year of 1956 which was the pivotal moment of Elvis’ explosive appearance onto the cultural landscape. No photographer ever again had a closeness to Elvis than Wertheimer. Apart from Elvis’s own recordings from this period, Wertheimer’s photographs are the most compelling vintage document of this musical artist at the flashpoint of fame.

🎸 Event will begin at 6PM. $80 ticket includes entry to the Govinda Live, slide show presentation, Q&A with Chris Murray, one complimentary cocktail and a selection of Elvis inspired appetizers & desserts by Chef Jenn.
