IP House released an exciting and timely new report, commissioned by Digital Citizens Alliance (DCA), titled "Overseas and Out of Reach: International Video Piracy and U.S. Options to Combat It." The report examines the impact of and the challenges posed by activities originating from countries beyond the reach of U.S. jurisdiction. Major book publishers defeat Internet Archive appeal over digital scanning 09/04/2024

A HUGE congrats to the Association of American Publishers (AAP) and ALL publishers on the decision announced by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, finding that Internet Archive is liable for copyright infringement and rejecting all four factors of their fair use argument.
