The Young Masters Inc.

The Young Masters is a family-based Arts Organization that strives for excellence and professionalism in the Visual Arts and other related disciplines.

The Young Masters does not have age limits but recognizes life from conception through transition into the "afterlife." Mentoring and "Each one-Teach one" are just some of the trademarks of our success. The Young Masters began with the Brown Spices Elves Workshop staffed with professional, folk, and Young Masters Artists. Great fun was had by all and the program decided to continue and grow.

Our Story

To nurture and empower Artists!

The Young Masters does not have age limits--you are ours from the womb to the stars. "Each one teaches one" in a celebration of Art.

The Young Masters draws from various roots--the Brown Spices Elves’ Workshop, Shule Yaa Ukuu (The Family School), and WCA (Workshops for Careers in the Arts).

We celebrate our Platinum, Bei Black, and Gold Star Professionals as well as our fine, folk, and Young Master Artists.

Our strongest programs are: Public Art, Children’s Classes & Workshops (often lead by Super Kidz) and our Internships. We are also proud of our exhibits and shows (including Kwanzaa) Rites of Passage Programs, and Media projects.
