Empowering Action
Empowering Action exists to equip the global church for greater biblical fidelity and ministry effectiveness.
The staff fellowshipping with our Haitian ministry partners at the border, who continue to minister faithfully amid national turmoil.
As the Puritan Thomas Brooks stated, “Let thy choicest companions be those who have made Christ their chief companion.”
We are blessed to have members of Immanuel Bible Church (Virginia), returning for a second year to minister alongside our local ministry partners.
"Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them." (Ephesians 5:11)
"Now godliness with contentment is great gain." (1 Timothy 6:6)
Raydel & Misael were facilitating our 2nd K2:42 training in Puerto Rico. Additionally, they participated in a conference on the missiology of missions to incorporate the content into our curriculum.
Simultaneously, Kent & Carlos were in Orlando, meeting with representatives from Ministerio MIES & Red de Multiplicación which serve Latin America and the Caribbean, investigating opportunities to collaborate by facilitating the K2:42 program. Praising the Lord for an exciting week for EA in Puerto Rico. Raydel and Misael are facilitating our second K2:42 training. Additionally, they are participating in a conference on the missiology of missions to incorporate the content within our curriculum.
“Anyone who goes too far and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God; the one who abides in the teaching, he has both the Father and the Son. If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house, and do not give him a greeting; for the one who gives him a greeting participates in his evil deeds.” (2 John 9-11)
Praying for a great time of fellowship and encouragement with our ministry partners in Cuba this week.
“So we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.” (Romans 12:5)
“Our sufficiency is of God; let us practically enjoy this truth. We are poor, leaking vessels, and the only way for us to keep full is to put our pitcher under the perpetual flow of boundless grace. Then, despite its leakage, the cup will always be full to the brim.” - Charles Spurgeon wisdom
“In a sort of ghastly simplicity, we remove the organ and demand the function. We make men without chests and expect of them virtue and enterprise. We laugh at honor and are shocked to find traitors in our midst. We castrate and bid the geldings be fruitful.” - C.S. Lewis, The Abolition of Man
"Authority is given to us, but stature is something we must earn and comes with a price to pay. To be an example to the believer by obeying God’s will and serving God’s people is one of the highest honors possible in this life. Yes, God’s servant/leaders have authority, and they exercise it in love, balancing it with the stature they’ve gained by being faithful to the Lord and his people." - Warren Wiersbe
"Remember from whose lips these words fell, even from the lips of the gentle Jesus. Honest speech is the surest token of a loving heart; but, nowadays, if a man preaches the truth plainly and faithfully, men say that he is hard and unkind; but if a man glosses over the truth, and alters it according to his own idea of what will please men, then they say, 'He is a kindly-disposed and large-hearted man.' I should be disposed to doubt whether he has any heart at all, if he will sooner see sinners damned than offend them by proclaiming the truth. I thank God that some of us care little about offending those who offend God." - Charles Spurgeon
The risen Lord Jesus Christ commended the church in Ephesus for their hatred of the practices of the Nicolaitans, which included idolatry and immorality under the pretense of spiritual liberty.
“Christian, hate evil. It has been your murderer… it has done you all the mischief that hell itself could do—mischief which would have wrought your eternal undoing, had not the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ prevented. Thou hast good reason, then, to hate sin.” - Charles Haddon Spurgeon.
“God’s people partake of the Divine nature, and so have both God-like sympathies and antipathies. They not only leave sin, but loathe it, and are at deadly feud with it.” - John Trapp.
Happy Resurrection Day! "This Jesus, delivered up according to the definite plan and foreknowledge of God, you crucified and killed by the hands of lawless men. God raised him up, loosing the pangs of death, because it was not possible for him to be held by it." (Acts 2:23-24)

“The truth is that the law of God has wider function than the promotion of conviction which leads to salvation. Where it is heard and known, it acts as a restraint on sin. It speaks to the conscience of the unregenerate. Although obedience to the law may be only external, nonetheless, it makes for a far better country than the one where its sanctions are thrown aside. To live where God is known and where His Word is heard is an inestimable blessing.” – Iain Murray
"God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God." - 2 Corinthians 5:21
