This year, the Northeast Performing Arts Group (NEPAG) celebrates its 45th year serving the youth of the District. With that in mind, I challenge all past alumni, present members and supporters to donate to the NEPAG to sustain our legacy that continues to be “NEPAG-strong.”
The “NEPAG $45 Donation Challenge” fundraising campaign is an opportunity to share fond memories, reunite with old friends, and give back to the community.
How to get involved:

∙ Call out a challenge to three other alumni, friends, or family members to donate by tagging their names in the “NEPAG $45 Donation Challenge” Facebook group.

The award-winning Northeast Performing Arts Group will present their 45th-anniversary production, "The Lion King: RELOADED,” on Friday, August 9, 2024, for two performances at the UDC Theater of the Arts located at 4300 Connecticut Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20008.
The award-winning Northeast Performing Arts Group will present their 45th-anniversary production, "The Lion King: RELOADED,” on Friday, August 9, 2024, for two performances at the UDC Theater of the Arts located at 4300 Connecticut Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20008.
The Lion King RELOADED is a soulful story about the life of a young lion who struggles with losing his father, the love he feels for a young lioness, his quest for the courage to become king in the absence of his father, and fulfilling his circle of life.
Two performances will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024:
*11:30 a.m. (matinee performance for seniors, schools) -- Groups must RSVP by Friday, August 3, 2024) --$10 in advance/$15 at the door.

The proceeds from this year's fundraiser will augment funding for NEPAG's year-round performing arts and academic-related programs for at-risk District youth, emphasizing wards east of the river.
