ACCR is a nonprofit that works in partnership with artists/collectors and community nonprofits in DC and Baltimore to expand access to original art, contributing to the creation of public spaces that stimulate dialogue, creativity, and healing.

We are thrilled to have Stanley Wenocur's work installed at Grassroots! Stan has generously contributed his thoughtful and beautiful artwork to ACCR for many years. As an artist and retired social worker residing in Howard County, this placement holds special significance. We know that his work will be appreciated in its new home, and will bring happiness for many years to come.
ACCR's Board and staff recently visited the Green Farmacy Garden and had an opportunity to tour their beautiful grounds and view the work of Charlotte Hill Robinson. This artwork, along with several others, were selected by the Community Ecology Institute last spring and reside in this newly acquired space. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Currently on view at Rockville Economic Development Incorporated, the exhibition features 25+ works, demonstrating the evolution and depth of the artist's work over three decades. Popped into BmoreArt to catch up with the lovely Cara Ober and to pick up my copy of City of Artists. Had an opportunity to the view the current exhibition, Liberty and Injustice, by Kim Rice and Paul Rucker and to tour another art collection within the building. A fun afternoon, thank you Cara!
Wonderful evening celebrating Sue Lowe and her newest exhibition, Curtains, at the Creative Alliance. A rather frigid evening warmed by the love and admiration felt in the gallery. Thank you Kathleen Hamill and Julia Keller for co-hosting this event.
Our Board had the opportunity to make several in-person studio visits this week during a trip to Baltimore. We spent time viewing and discussing artwork, processes, and sharing some thoughtful insights. Thank you Jessica Damen, Joan Cox, Carol Miller Frost, Mary Beth Muscara, Terry Thompson and Jowita Wyszomirska for opening up your studios to us!
Our Executive Director, Julie Cavnor, recently visited Stanley Wenocur in his home studio. Stan has generously donated several works to ACCR over the years and will soon make work from the series shown here available to participating nonprofits. We are looking for five new nonprofits within the Baltimore/DC area interested in receiving artwork from this series. The artwork is considered a permanent donation to your organization.

Five nonprofits selected from thirty original artworks at Redi.Set. Art!, an exhibition at Rockville Economic Development, Inc., earlier this week. At the exhibition closing on March 30th, the artwork will be permanently gifted to the nonprofits for display in their public areas.
