This decision wasn’t made lightly, and it’s a bittersweet farewell to a place that has been a part of our lives and celebrations. sPACYcLOUd has been more than just a business; it’s been a community, a place where memories were made, and friendships were forged.
While this chapter comes to an end, I am excited for the new adventures.

Last night we kicked off a compaign for and signed a letter for restaurants who support a culinary scene that does not serve foie gras.
Thanks to and coach of for organising and bringing community together.
“…We support a ban on the sale of foie gras not only because it is the right thing to do, but also because protecting the reputation of our local dining and retail is in our economic interest. Well-informed consumers are more invested than ever in a humane approach to hospitality. Purveyors who practice humane farming add marketing value to any establishment. On the other hand, allowing a tiny percentage of restaurants and grocers to serve a product made from an inherently abusive process sullies our culinary reputation as a whole. The most esteemed culinary hubs around the country have already embraced a position on force feeding, leaving DC behind. We wish to change that.
If we do not take a stand against the sale of foie gras, we are sending a message that there is no floor for the ethical treatment of animals; that no practice, however inhumane, is off the table as long as it is convenient.
We know we can serve delicious food and run successful businesses without resorting to extremely inhumane treatment of animals. For these reasons, we strongly urge the City Council to add DC to the list of key dining destinations across the world that have banned the sale of foie gras.”
