Mary House

Mary House is a community based organization that provides housing and support services to immigrant and refugee families in crisis.

Based in Northeast Washington D.C., we work predominantly with families displaced by war and extreme poverty, including the low-income Latin American population. While we began in 1981 as a way to address the housing needs of one family, Mary House has grown into an established support program within the community. Our work aims to further the potential for success that is already present in all of our residents.

A heartfelt thank you to St. Anthony’s Catholic School! 🌟 Today, we joined the incredible students from St. Anthony’s Catholic School in their annual Walk for the Homeless, carrying signs and raising awareness for our cause. Swipe to see inspiring moments featuring not only these compassionate students but also kids from our own Mary House housing and after school programs. Your support helps us continue our mission to provide safe shelter, essential services, and hope for a brighter future .
