U.S.VETS was proud to have our National Director of Programs, Calvin Jackson, and our National Su***de Prevention Coordinator, Justin Dahse, attend the Annual WWP Soldier Ride at the White House last week. It’s an honor to collaborate with organizations like WWP that highlight the needs of our veterans.

Community: a feeling of fellowship with others, as a result of sharing common attitudes, interests, and goals.

Today, community rings so true for our U.S.VETS family. Over 40 of our fellow community members volunteered to help U.S. VETS - Washington DC clients and staff have our very first all campus GI Party.

GI party: a thorough cleaning of a military barracks by its inhabitants.

In our case a full cleaning of our entire facility and we just couldn’t have done it without our community. A special thanks to Starr Dumpsters for coming in clutch with needed dumpster services!!

From the clients and staff at U.S.VETS - DC: Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Ms. Corlissa Udoema, President/CEO and Founder of Contractor Solutions, one of the largest minority contractors with the Department of Defense, made several gallons of turkey noodle soup to warm the tummy’s and souls of our veterans here at U.S. VETS - Washington DC.
