saw us partner with ACT Alliance, Kirkens Nรธdhjelp and others to host a side event at UN Geneva, titled "Navigating within Shrinking Space: Womenโs Vital Role in Peace and Security."
Our Director of Global Engagement and Impact Dr. Suchi Gaur, moderated a panel of experts from FELM, UN Women, United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), Orthodox Church, and a number of Member States to highlight the importance of women in implementing UN Security Council Resolutions 1325 and 2475, which call for womenโs meaningful participation in peacebuilding efforts.
This event reaffirms our dedication to raising womenโs voices and ensuring they are included in shaping peace and security policies. Women and youth voices in peace is common sense! Transformative actions are a must to support to make this a reality.
