On this day in 1887, L.L. Zamenhof, the founder of Esperanto, published the first book in Esperanto: Unua Libro. 136 years later, we celebrate the entrance of Esperanto to the literary world, and the legacy that Zamenhof has left behind. Happy Esperanto Day!
