Every year since 2020, we've looked forward to being in community with families across the city. Our 'Show Must Go On' attitude is in our collective DNA, however, it is also okay to take a step back, reassess and come back stronger.

The Mental Health Data Analysis Report Back Session that was scheduled to be held for Wednesday, June 26th at North End Recreation is now POSTPONED. This is not a goodbye – but more of a see you later.

Thank You for Celebrating Men’s Health Month and Juneteenth with Us! 🎉 A huge thanks to everyone who joined us for our 'Walk N' Talk With A Doc' event on June 15th in Fulton Park! Special appreciation to Rep. Reyes for sharing valuable insights about prostate cancer and the importance of men’s health screenings. We’re grateful for the vibrant community participation, thoughtful questions and the wonderful conversations we had together.

Special thanks to Arlanda Brantley, Black Women United, Helping Hands in the Community, GirlTrek, Nest, Built 4 Success, our Juneteenth Honorees and all those who made this Walk N’ Talk series a success. Did you hear the news? We’re heading to Atlanta! has been selected as a presenter for this years National Community Schools & Family Engagement Conference.

In 2016, in partnership with Waterbury Public Schools the BOOST! community school model was adopted. Since then, the BOOST! framework has grown to 6 Waterbury Public School. More than just programming, the BOOST! model focuses on providing support to the whole child, family and community with integrated opportunities right at school. BTS recently received funding from the US Department of Education to continue the transformative effort with public school education.
