On a beautiful Thursday afternoon, August 22, 2024, families gathered at Fulton Park in Connecticut for Waterbury Youth Services 27th Annual Back to School Rally. With over 50 resource providers present, children and their families lined up early at the Pine Street entrance to check in and receive one of the more than 600 backpacks distributed to help them get ready for the upcoming school year.
This annual event brings together community support, ensuring students have the tools they need to succeed.

The Northwest Regional Workforce Investment Board (NRWIB) is the administrative entity that oversees and administers WIA and CT-DOL funded programs in the Northwest Region Service Delivery Area (SDA). It was established by the Governor to promote effective delivery of job training services throughout the Region that includes the forty-one municipalities.
