This weekend CAP is participating in Worship Weekend. In honor of it's 82 birthday, Cadets and Seniors are authorized to wear their Class A, Class B, or Class C uniforms to their place of worship.

Color Guard was able to present colors and assist with a flag folding ceremony at the ceremony held at the Newaldaya facility. Mayor Rob Green spoke from "Bill of Obligations" by Richard Haass.

Tonight we held another class for our newer cadets on drill, chain of command, and rank while the rest of the squadron participated in character development. Congratulations to C/A1C Ava Rice and C/A1C Steven Dekutoski for promoting!

I missed the pictures of the PT games- unfortunately. But military bearing contests are always fun! Newer cadets also made progress on the Great Start Program. Always appreciate the hospitality of the Armory

The Air Force's Aim High Flight Academy is a free, three-week introductory flight program that inspires young adults to explore aviation. Students receive one-on-one training from the Air Force and flight instructors in the classroom and the sky. Civil Air Patrol cadets and others who turn 16 by June 1, 2024, can apply by Oct. 15. The class follows the pilots handbook of aeronautical knowledge. They do lots of flight simulator and book work. This is a study the text book and ask questions of the instructor type class. Online. (Zoom/teams) 90 minutes, 2-4 times a month. Please google academic flight for more information. PPL ground book study class.
