So, I very often wonder why is it that so few people show kindness???? I see more and more displays of greed and selfishness now than ever before!!

So many messages circulating out there that no one's looking out for you, you gotta take care of yourself, put your feelings above others because no one cares for you. Ugh.

You know who cares about you??? Unconditionally????? Who'll never let you down???? Jesus!!! That's right! Jesus!!

So, when you grasp onto the fact that Jesus has your back and will never fail you, and will always love you, you can stop trying to do everything for yourself!! Give others your time, your love, your spare change, your leftovers, your trust, and a little bit of yourself!!

God will always replenish you and provide!!

Today’s devotional is called, “Keep Quiet.” The scripture is, Proverbs 29:11 ~ A [self-confident] fool utters all his anger, but a wise man holds it back and stills it.

One of the things that you and I as believers must learn if we want to be faithful servants in the kingdom of God is how to keep our mouths shut. Very few of us have mastered that.

When we get upset about something, we think we have to let everyone know about it. Maybe we even say, “I’m just going to give them a piece of my mind!”

Don’t make that mistake. No one wants or needs a piece of your mind - and if you give it to them, you’ll only end up alienating people and bringing harm to yourself. Learn, instead, to keep quiet.

This especially applies in the area of spiritual insight. When the Holy Spirit gives you discernment about a situation, don’t go spreading it all over town. If you do, you’ll come to a place where the Lord can’t trust you with revelation and insight into things and situations.

This has happened! There have been intercessors who have received revelation about someone’s weaknesses or needs. They have been given insight into the problem in someone’s life, so they could pray for that person. But, instead of keeping that information between themselves and God in prayer, they told others about it. As a result, they lost their effectiveness as intercessors.

Don’t let that happen to you. Starting today, let’s develop the quiet art of the wise man, and the devil will find it increasingly difficult to harm your prayer life and ministry to others. Remember; God is good! God is for you!! God is faithful so today and every day…do what glorifies Him!!!

Let’s pray; Dear Jesus, You are worthy of all my praise and I want my words to be pleasing to You. Help me to control my tongue- not to speak words that wound the spirit, but words that bring peace, healing and hope. Give me words to speak to others that will bless their lives. Help me to keep my eyes on you, not my circumstances and to grow in my own personal knowledge of Your Word so that I can speak the truth boldly over every situation that arises in my life. Thank You, Lord, for the gift of Your Word. I pray that it will be on my lips today amd every day. I believe I receive. In Jesus Mighty Name. Amen 🙏🏼

Instead, be kind to people and help them when you can just because it's what Jesus would do and the love of Jesus is dwelling inside of you!!! 🐝
