There is nothing better as a physician than when you are at the gym on a Saturday afternoon and the place is filled with your patients from their 20s to their 80s doing the right thing. Makes my doctor heart happy, even if they don’t recognize me in my Micky Mouse hat 🤣

SJ will be offering the Basic EMT course again next year if there is enough enrollment. This course counts as a high school Science credit and earns 8.5 JCC credits. This is a great course for anyone to consider --- those going into emergency response professions or volunteer work, those going into Nursing or other medical professions and those interested in athletic training, coaching, education or the military. To enroll a student must be 17 by June 30th in 2025 and they must see their School Counselor ASAP. There will be a student/parent meeting held at 7:00 on May 29th at South Jefferson High School.
