Open Auditions for this year's IYDT Nutcracker (performances on 21-22 December 2024 at the Lake Zurich High School Theatre):

Workshops in preparation for the auditions will be offered on Saturday and Sunday, the 14th and 15th of September.

We are saddened to announce that due to the current state of Covid and limitations imposed by the state of Illinois, we will be unable to perform our Nutcracker production this year. This is the first time in 21 years that IYDT will not be performing a live Nutcracker show.

However, there will be a fantastic opportunity to bring Nutcracker into the comfort of your home this holiday season! We will be offering production packs that will include a DVD of our very special 20th Anniversary production, as well as special treats, all for a very affordable price! Stay tuned for details and how you can help IYDT continue to be successful and an incredible outlet for our local youth.

Also, keep a lookout for announcements from our home studio, Illinois Dance Conservatory, for opportunities to perform in their in-studio demonstrations as well!
