The Writing Center at UW-Waukesha provides a variety of resources to encourage all student writers on campus to grow. Our goal is not simply to create a better paper but to create better writers. We can help with brainstorming, developing ideas, rough drafts, thesis statements, MLA and APA citation, transitions, arguments and persuasion, introductions and conclusions, and paragraph organization. We work with writers of all writing levels (beginner to advance), as well as students in all subjects.
The Online Writing Lab offers writing support via email when students are unable to come to campus or are more comfortable receiving feedback in written form. Tutors respond to the writer’s concerns via email within 48 hours.
The Math Lab tutors are excited to partner with students and help you develop math knowledge and a positive outlook toward math. Sessions are available in a walk-in basis or by appointment. The Waukesha Math Lab also offers tutoring in Physics.
