What does good sleep do for you?
5 Ways Sleep Can Help you Think Better Did you that sleep can help you think better? We all know that mentally foggy feeling we've woken up with, but how does sleep really impact our mind?
For the past year, I’ve been working on this course.
I developed this content by doing workshops on the topic since 2016.
Organizations would ask me to do one talk that could teach people the basics they needed to know for their mental health.
After many versions and edits, I’m grateful to offer it to more people now.

In today's fast-paced and interconnected world, social skills have become more important than ever.
Whether in your personal or professional life, your ability to connect with others can have a significant impact on your success and well-being.
That's why I recommend checking out Social Intelligence by Daniel Goleman (Check the link in my bio for more info on this and other books).
This book is a great guide for anyone looking to deepen their understanding of human behavior and improve their social skills.
With a sweet blend of relevant research and engaging storytelling, Goleman gives us insights into the science of human connection and provides practical strategies for enhancing our social intelligence.
Here are 7 strategies that I've used to help me connect more effectively.
1. Listen actively:
One of the best ways to connect with people is to listen to what they have to say. This means hearing them out, asking follow-up questions, and really understanding their perspective.
2. Be you:
Don't try to be someone you're not. Easier said than done, I know. Show your true self, share your experiences, and be vulnerable. People are more likely to connect with you when they see the real you.
3. Find common ground:
Look for shared interests or experiences and use that as a starting point for conversation. It can help break down any barriers and create a genuine connection.
4. Express empathy:
Try to put yourself in the other person's shoes. Understand their emotions and feelings and let them know that you care.
5. Share encouraging feedback:
Everyone likes to feel appreciated and valued. Take the time to offer genuine acknowledgement and encouragement to others.
6. Be present:
Give your full attention to the person you're talking to. Avoid distractions and make eye contact. Let them know that they have your full focus.
7. Follow up:
After you've had an initial conversation, follow up with the person to build on the connection. You could send them an email or message, offer to meet up again, or simply check in on how they're doing.
It’s almost here.

What are your beliefs?
You don’t always get to choose the beliefs you write, but you can choose the beliefs you keep and the ones you plant.
What beliefs are you planting?
How strong are you?
You don’t usually think about strong and quiet going together, but they make an incredible combo. I’ve seen strong people like this before. Have you?
I wanna be that kind of strong.
I’m so grateful for Dr. Beck, the founder of cognitive behavior theory. He changed the therapy, counseling, and coaching game. Countless people (including me) have been helped because he was willing to ask his patient about her thoughts years ago. I’m sure many of you have been impacted by his work without even knowing it.
Go define and solve some problems.
Every time you think or do something healthy and helpful, celebrate.
If you wait to celebrate until you reach perfection, you’ll never get there. You’re never get to celebrate.
Give yourself some credit for every step.
Every healthy thought.
Every helpful decision.
Every walk.
Every “no” to something negative.
Every pound lost.
Every healthy conversation.
You can get better every day.
It’s about progress.
Give yourself something to celebrate today.
If you’re want to learn more about your mind and brain, this is a great place to start.
It was foundational and so influential for me.
I found this book back 2013. It was one of the first books I read after grad school.
So grateful for the work of . He is one of the greatest mentors I haven’t met…yet.
Check out the book.
It’s not a product you can buy.
Transformation is built one thought at a time.
The process starts in the mind and can impact every other area of your life.
I’ve seen too many people give up on their transformation because it was taking too long. And, I’ve also seen so many people work the process and experience more progress than they could have ever dreamed of.
Trust the process.
Transformation is possible.
Question 1: How’s your mind?
Take a moment to ask yourself this question today.
If you answered it, then ask Question 2:“What’s the best thing to do now?”
If you don’t know how your mind is, then schedule a conversation with someone you trust and have them ask you Question 1. After that, have them ask you question 2. Some of us get to higher levels of self-awareness conversationally. And that’s okay.
Thank you for all of the love and support yesterday. You’re amazing!
What is gratitude?
It’s all about expressing thankfulness to someone. You can experience thankfulness all day long, and that’s good. But the real power comes from expressing it. Express it everyday and you’ll start to think better.
Your thinking leads the way. If you think better, you’ll eventually start to feel, do, and connect better.
