Waxahachie Foundation

Non-Profit organization that awards grants in support other non-profits in the Waxahachie area. We have no paid staff and all trustees are volunteers.

Waxahachie Foundation is a 501(C)3 charitable organization comprised of twelve dedicated trustees who are well acquainted with the needs of the Waxahachie community. Each quarter, our trustees vote and issue grants to worthy causes and non-profits that benefit the Waxahachie area.

The Waxahachie Foundation granted the Dinah Weable Indigent Mammogram Fund with $7500. The Fund helps to provide mammograms for uninsured and underinsured women or men in Waxahachie. To date, they have been able to provide 1800 mammograms.

With a $5000 grant from the Waxahachie Foundation, the Texas Ramp Project will be able to provide free wheelchair ramps to low-income individuals with disabilities in Waxahachie. Thank you for the amazing work you do!

The Texas Baptist Home for Children recently celebrated its 500th adoption! The Waxahachie Foundation granted the TBHC with $2500 to help celebrate all adoptions in the programs 20 years.

With a $2200 grant from the Waxahachie Foundation, T&S Ministries will be able to make a bigger impact on the homeless in Waxahachie. T&S helps to provide hygiene products, water and snacks and so much more.

Waxahachie Foundation is proud to support the Waxahachie ISD’s Operation First Day of School initiative. Waxahachie Foundation granted this quarter $2,000.00 towards Operation First Day of School to be used to help purchase school supplies for economically disadvantaged students.

We wish the students, teachers and staff of WISD a safe and successful school year!

Recently we were able to purchase a new commercial refrigerator &freezer.
Waxahachie Foundation a wonderful organization gave us a grant for $5000.00. Allowing us to purchase these much needed appliances. Waxahachie Foundation is pro-comminity. They have helped many organizations over the years giving grants because we live in a community that cares. People donate to this organization & in return we all benefit. Thank you all so much!!!

Historic Waxahachie Inc. was honored to be selected as one of the grant recipients from the Waxahachie Foundation last week! This grant will help fund the restoration of a 100-year-old Interurban Railcar which, once completed, will be donated to the City of Waxahachie for the public to enjoy.
