I am so excited for tomorrow -- and our first ever in-person Talk Circle at HeartBreath Studio in Havertown.

Talk Circles are a chance for us to come together to explore and heal. Together we foster the best that humanity has to offer. Together reminds us that we are not alone which CHANGES EVERYTHING.

Talk circles are free to the public, but we do have expenses, so we pass the basket in an effort to support ourselves and our work. The recommended donation is $10.

I ran into Dr. Georgia Tetlow of Philadelphia Integrative Medicine the other day – her practice is upstairs in my building. She asked me how I was, and I said, “Honestly? Not great.”

I told her a string of issues that I’m currently struggling with and she was so patient and so kind — she just had the greatest compassion for everything I was sharing. She offered some advice, but what felt best in that moment was just being honest about how bad everything has been.

Sometimes things aren’t great.

And also, sometimes they are.

So, if you need to or want to, you can be honest with me. I get it. And if it’s helpful, feel free to answer this question-

How’s it going? Like — really?

Sometimes, I just need the reminder to stop, stretch, and be with my body. In case you need that today, too, I wanted to share.

Somehow, it’s happened again! it’s officially the first day of summer, friends!

Halen started camp on Monday and cried. The transition was really hard. This morning she said, “Guess what, Mommy? I get to go to camp today!” And she was so excited. I feel like that sums up so much of summer and maybe life in general.
