Bonding & Trust!
Equine Massage sessions can serve as an opportunity for bonding and building trust between the horse and their handler/owner!
Developing a positive relationship with your horse can facilitate better trust, communication, and cooperation!
It is important to note that Equine massage therapy should always be performed by a licensed therapist as is required in the state of Washington. We can assess the horse’s needs and tailor the massage techniques, ensuring the treatment is safe and effective.
I love communicating with owners while giving their horses bodywork. It’s a great way to share information and give tips on how to identify tension & potential issues. My license # is MA60227133.

Why invest in bodywork for your horse??🐴🙌
Horse massage therapy is a highly effective and non-invasive method of improving a horse's physical and mental health. Regular massage can help to relieve muscle tension, increase circulation, and reduce inflammation, leading to improved flexibility, mobility, and overall comfort for the horse. Additionally, massage can help to reduce stress and anxiety, which can have a positive impact on a horse's behavior and performance.
By hiring a professional equine massage therapist, horse owners can ensure that their animal receives the highest level of care and attention. A skilled therapist will be able to identify areas of tension or discomfort in the horse's body and use a range of techniques to alleviate these issues. They will also be able to tailor the massage to the specific needs of the horse, taking into account factors such as their age, breed, and level of activity.
Overall, regular massage therapy can help to improve a horse's physical and emotional well-being, leading to a happier and healthier animal. In addition, by investing in the services of a professional equine massage therapist, horse owners can be confident that their animal is receiving the best possible care and attention, which can help to prevent or alleviate a range of health issues.

🤠I feel that it is important to educate horse owners on the requirements for therapists in the state of Washington to work on your horse! I’ve noticed, since I’ve been working in the equine world that there are many therapists working illegally. It upsets my heart because there are so many of us that work hard to continue to educate ourselves and keep our licenses active. Your horses deserve the best and that is why I’m giving you this information. Anytime someone works on your horse I recommend going to www.doh.wa.gov and do a provider search to make sure that your bodyworker is actively licensed. Also, asking them if they have insurance to cover the work they are doing is a good idea as it is required by law.

BIG NEWS!!! 🗞️🚨
I’m Now offering full body thermal imaging for your horse! Thermal imaging reads heat. Thermal imaging can help detect injuries or inflammation in your horses body. Early detection can help prevent injuries from becoming more severe, and more expensive!
I love educating horse owners on the anatomy of their companions while I am working! When you can visualize the muscles & structure of your horse your appreciation for them grows!
I just saw this article on the Appleatchee website shared by Jane Hoxsey. I wanted to share it because it contains great info about the danger of feeding horses grass clippings.
https://ker.com/equinews/lawn-clippings-horses/?fbclid=IwAR365iUkv109e6ynJ-JsqBUW7GTHGC-s4CsZMSx-i6jZ8ZkIQGP3x3Wdvu8 #:~:text=Feeding%20lawn%20clippings%20will%20dramatically,of%20fermentation%20in%20the%20hindgut
Lawn Clippings and Horses - Kentucky Equine Research Feeding lawn clippings will dramatically upset the balance of microbes in the hindgut, potentially leading to colic or laminitis, as the amount of highly fermentable carbohydrates in regularly clipped lawns is dangerously high.
