Today we celebrate our 12 year anniversary 💓 People always wonder how we can spend so much time together; we both work and live together. The answer is: we enjoy each other’s company! We have built our lives around each other and wouldn’t have it any other way! And these 12 years together have been nothing short of incredible in ways we can’t even begin to explain.

We are very excited to announce that we are now offering Gua Sha as an add on to our massage appointments!

✨ What is Gua Sha you may ask?
Gua Sha means "to scrape sand" and is an ancient Traditional Chinese Medicine technique using a tool such as a smooth curved stone or spoon to "scrape" areas of dysfunction on the body, thereby reducing inflammation which can help manage chronic pain and promote healing.

✨ What are the benefits?
Scraping helps to mobilize the tissue, boost microcirculation of blood and nutrients within the soft tissue, break up microscopic adhesions within the fascia, flatten out muscular knots, improve range of motion, enhance nerve communication, improve exercise performance and recovery, decrease inflammation and much more!

✨ Are there any side effects?
Gua Sha is safe and should not be painful, however, similar to cupping therapy it may cause bruising of the skin, but this usually disappears within a couple of days. We will of course check on you throughout the session to ensure you are as comfortable as possible.
