Community is everything here and this month we are highlighting Thecla!
In these last 5 years of getting to know Thecla I can say that she has one of the biggest hearts that the human body can hold ..always starting conversation with a new friend. Thecla shakes things up on her yoga mat and attends classes a-z.. so much variety. You could never put her in a box. We will miss you so much! Congratulations on being our yogi of the monthš¤ Say hi to her when you see heršš½ ..And you will know her by the coolest most colorful yoga pants in the room.

A: In 1999, a Bikram studio opened near my apartment in NY and offered a free class. I was hooked!

If you have seen Susan in class, usually on a Monday night or a Wednesday, you already know that her presence is joy inducing. This yogi has been practicing with us shortly after we opened our doors. She is continuously committed to rolling out her mat week after week and year after year. You can always count on seeing her with a family member or a friend as she has a way of inspiring others to be their personal best or to try something new. Her energy is contagious and her flow courageousšŖš½.. she puts her whole heart into everything she does so thereās nothing she canāt do.. including malasana.š

Q: When did your yoga journey begin?
A: My yoga journey began in 2015 when I met Felicita, and she talked me into trying a class I fully expected to hate, and itās been happily ever after!
Q: What is your favorite class at Blue Luna?
A: My favorite class is any class Felicita is teachingā¦ but especially hot flow.
Q: Favorite Pose? Least Favorite?
A: My least favorite pose is Malasana, and my favorite is anything I can do better than my sister. ;)

A: Off the mat, I have 5 wild animals who keep me busy!
