My first time buyer and I were out looking at condos and we were about to call it a day. I decided to check the MLS just as we were about to leave. Lo and behold..a unit right where we were had just gotten listed about 5 minutes earlier. It was a longshot that we would get in right then with little notice..but I called and tried anyways. The agent told me the lockbox wasn't even there yet, but being proactive, called the seller who was unprepared but happy to let us in. Offer made that night and accepted. It's all about timing, and making sure to keep on top of the market!
