Last week's meeting was themed The Olympics! To make our meetings fun and unique, the meeting's Toastmaster gets to choose a theme. Stop by this Monday evening at 7pm at the WeHo Aquatics and Rec center for a special "Company - Sondheim's Gateway Drug" meeting hosted by our very one Club Presiden - Ryan Garney!

We had a blast last week at WeHoT! We celebrated our new members with an induction ceremony, pizza, and a special Table Topics themed meeting. Congrats to all of our new members. Congrats to our Club President, Lana Melman, who won the best table topics speech. In the end, Lana was up against our previous Club President, Rick Willett, and let me tell you, it was a close one. Thanks to everyone who attended and a special thanks to Brianna Ancel for hosting.

Have you ever played Charades in a costume? 😄 We did just that at our Halloween party this year! At WeHo Toastmasters, we love to improve our public speaking skills and sometimes we like to relax and have fun with our members.

Wanderlust has led all our members all over Los Angeles and to this past Monday's meeting! Our meeting's Toastmaster took us on a tour of his favorite spots in LA and the members got an awesome time telling us theirs during table topics! We also had the officer's induction ceremony! Don't miss the fun and meet us this coming Monday 10/23. Guests are welcome!

We inducted our new members a couple weeks ago! We continue to enroll people who are eager to get up and present in front of others and you could be next! Our next meeting is this coming Monday 10/16 where our first time Toastmaster, Luis Cabrera, has chosen the theme "Being A Local Tourist". We meet at the WeHo Aquatics and Rec Center at 7pm.

This past Monday everyone in our meeting had a chance to get up and speak in front of an audience, even our guest! That's what makes our meetings fun and effective at improving our public speaking skills! We meet the first three Mondays of the month. See you in September!
