Parking Meter Productions
Parking Meter Productions is an independent shop committed to the art, business & creative discipline of storytelling via film, television & the web.
With everything else going on at the end of 2023, I didn't get a chance to post about this last achievement for my lil documentary that could. Last year marked the 10 years since my film first hit the film festival circuit and, though modest, raw, authentic and super indie-honest, as you can see from the laurel below, it still holds up and garnered an award mention.
I am so proud of "Gaze of the Beholder" and the new paths that making it opened up for me, especially in helping me realize and achieve my childhood dream of being a filmmaker one day. I'm also so proud and happy that it continues to touch people all over the world in meaningful ways.
It took my good friend Hanh Nguyen Dania Sacks March and a whole other village of people who supported me along the way to bring it to life and I thank everyone who helped make this doc a reality. Always remember to believe in yourself and continue to not only dare to dream, but follow your dreams - no matter what! - Xo, w2 ❤
P.S. Many thanks to the LWIFF Lonely Wolf International Film Festival for this honor!
Storytelling in the with my new XR company New Canvas ;-)
Review⎪LUSTRATION: connecting mainstream audiences to immersive stories Lustration VR is a 4-episode virtual reality series made using Quill and available on Oculus TV that will blow your mind with its intricate plot and fantasy/noir content. A production in which the viewer can switch camera POVs and explore different perspectives... and possibly different worlds.
Hosts Wadooah & Quinn decided to do a special LIVE, year end episode of our podcast for your added listening/viewing pleasure.
In Episode #104 we talk about "Grief" - not grief for grief's sake, but grief as a means to destigmatize, share, connect and heal.
is universal. At some point in everyone’s life, there will be at least one encounter with grief. It may be from the death of a loved one, the loss of a job, the end of a relationship, or any other change that alters life as you know it.
There are over 300K families who have lost someone this year to ; and it looks like 2020 might be the year when we have more deaths than ever before.
AND, it’s the . That time when the word CHEER gets bandied about and you could punch someone in the face. For many of us, loss is felt even more during this time. It is a heavy burden to carry the expected joy of the holidays with a grieving heart.
Grief can be really isolating but the truth is that, everyone has a story about grief so today we are going to share ours in hopes that maybe you will feel less alone.
