Decades before the cultural revolution of the 1960s, a small group of Californians were cultivating an alternative lifestyle that would come to influence later movements and culture at large. They called themselves the Nature Boys. It's now 2022 and THESE Nature Boyz came to do two things: kick some ass and drink some beer. Alright alright alright.

Paige Stark is a singer, songwriter, and producer from Los Angeles,
California. She likes black coffee, hotel bathrobes, animals, and
hates the sun. She makes music for tap dancing vampires at country fairs. 🧛♀️🎶🌵🌹
There is a sensibility that seems to be peculiar to the West Coast, which conceives of time as a kind of metaphysical shaper, both of the artist and their attitude toward the material. Evan apRoberts writes songs and makes works of art that reflect years of immersion in Western landscapes. Songs are filled with darkly romantic lyrics and desolate imagery, which we see through apRoberts’s pinhole camera view of the world, revealing an approach rooted in the West Coast Folk and Beat traditions. 🌵🌹🎶
The spirit of the marvelous Leslie Stevens never shies away from laying down what’s what — if only to leave a bookmark in the most golden part your soul. Crowned “Best Country Singer” in the L.A. Weekly’s Best Of, her voice mesmerizes with whimsical donkeys, soldiers, drinking and driving in heaven, the profound depths of the deep blue sea. Her most recent release, 'Sinner' produced by Jonathan Wilson, shows off this highly crafted cosmic country. The L.A. Times calls her "one of the city's best" and Chris Ziegler (L.A. Record) writes that she has "the kind of voice you'll realize you've been waiting to hear since forever." 🌵🌹🎶
We are thrilled to present next week’s line-up!! Paige Stark, Nature Boyz, Leslie Stevens + Evan apRoberts!
Mark your calendars!! This one’s gonna be a hoot! 🌵🌹🎶

Simha creates worldly and modern Soul/Jazz. Experiencing the intersection of different cultures in the SF Bay Area, Simha grew up with an ear for both western and eastern musical influences. Sonic waves from North Indian Classical music to Jazz, he introduces a new element of discovery for his listeners. Expressing his heart and energy with lush soul harmonies and ethereal textures, Simha hopes to help claim space for Q***r Bipoc artists in the jazz-leaning side of the industry.
Simha’s upcoming EP, After So Long // बरसों बाद, is an aural experience that tells a story of becoming reacquainted with oneself. Weaving through topics of anxiety, intergenerational trauma, and self acceptance, Simha colors the EP with his signature background vocal layering, ethereal production qualities, and neo-genre fusion. Carrying thematic motifs that can be heard melodically, lyrically, and harmonically, Simha repurposes and recycles many elements of the project. Nearing the end of the EP, Simha approaches the last track to hint at what might come after the project.
As Simha moves forward with the growth of his music career, he hopes to draw inspiration from a rapidly changing world. With a new EP under his belt, he hopes to break certain habits that became the norm in his creative process. Introducing new variables and approaches, Simha hopes to shake things up while still holding true to his signature sound.

Kiah Victoria has traveled the globe gracing audiences with her deeply soulful sound and life- giving voice. After graduating with a BFA in Recorded Music from New York University's Tisch School Of The Arts and becoming a published songwriter with Sony/ATV, the young songbird toured Europe and the UK supporting artists from Amber Mark to Mahalia to Jessie Reyez. Her powerfully intimate vocal performance has garnered the attention of Pitchfork, Vevo, i-D Magazine, BBC Radio 1, Vice, Billie Eilish, Jay-Z and more. Since writing the debut single ‘Midnight’ off Jessie Ware’s Glass House album, co-featuring on a track with Bibi Bourelly, and making her NPR Tiny Desk premiere alongside Son Lux, Kiah Victoria has been releasing original audio and visual experiences for the spirit and heart.
Her latest work focuses on inner evolution, the sacredness of womanhood, and just how terrifying it can feel to become who you are. While wrapping up her debut album And Then We Wept, the young songbird is releasing records from her Prequel EP - most recently co-signed by R&B starchild Jhené Aiko for whom she just opened in LA on 2.22.2022.

Kéo is an R&B/indie pop artist, based in Los Angeles. Her most recent songwriting and vocal production work have been major players in Barbie’s massive re-brand campaign where female empowerment is at the forefront. Among many other renowned TV shows, Kéo’s work can be heard on Netflix’s “Q***r Eye,” “Project Runway,” Nickelodeon’s Squishy Littles toy brand and more.
In her more personal music, Kéo’s ultimate intention is bringing substance and story back to R&B by drawing inspiration from classic R&B influences, giving her music an undeniable radio-friendly signature sound. While reckoning with mental health, past mistakes and the pain of a love lost as major themes in her work, Kéo cleverly disguises bittersweet moments in sonically pleasing bops. As NPR’s Tiny Desk quotes, “Her lyrics roll off the tongue with similar esteem, crafted with crowd-pleasing, relatable consideration and a hum-along chorus sticky enough to show up on Billboard charts.” 🎶❤️🌵🌹
LA native singer-songwriter Ali Angel’s retro-soul production and classic songwriting style emanate a 1970’s influence. Full of surprises, she keeps listeners intrigued by effortlessly shifting from sweet, daydreamy twang and gentle vocals to gritty soulful rock and attitude. Her debut, self-titled EP is set to release June 17th and give listeners dynamic, optimistic and golden-hued fun for their ears this summer. 🌵🎶🌹

Born in the midwest and shaped by years spent in Nashville, LA based Neon Cowgirl embodies both twang and glamour. She regales us with tales of a head injury, addiction, dating rock stars, and of course, good, old-fashioned heartbreak. Her 3rd single, “F’d up and Dance”, co-written with The Band Perry was released on April 8. 🌵🎶🌹
Rolling down-canyon in a dune buggy from the Sierra Nevadas, Joe Bourdet is a lover of mountains. His music follows old topographical maps that are read backwards while charging forward, in the dark, with a dying flashlight.
Beyond music, Sie Sie's skills include remedial arithmetic, shadow work and wagon wheeling. She can make a mean trashcan punch at a five-fingered discount.

One of LA's best-kept musical songwriting secrets for over a decade - collaborating with the likes of Jim James, Sondre Lerche, Moby, Sarah and Sean Watkins (Nickel Creek), and Mikael Jorgensen (Wilco) - Jamie Drake has all the while been carefully honing her own craft and preparing to take center stage.
This June 2022, Drake’s love for early 1970s Laurel Canyon folk unexpectedly meets Rio de Janeiro in 'New Girl,' once again displaying her ability to evolve as a dynamic artist in her time by bringing a fresh perspective on Folk and Bossa Nova that is uniquely her own. 'New Girl' is the raw and emotionally brave follow up to her last release, 'Everything's Fine,' with 11 songs primarily recorded in single vocal takes; keeping her best performances along with minor imperfections. Her first single from the album -- 'Easy Target' -- was awarded the #1 spot on Spotify's "Fresh Folk" playlist, with her face on the cover. Keep an eye out for Jamie's new, inventive music and her serendipitously crafted music videos at jamiedrakemusic.com.

" I composed these songs between Ontario Canada, Nashville TN and Los Angeles CA over the past four years. A massive musical delay and musical pause but a necessary one. Life, happiness and health came first. Including the pandemic. Feeding money and time into artistic pursuits can often feel like feeding coins into a broken parking metre. I hold so many incredible musical memories in my heart but it also took its toll. I therefore took my time with these songs, the production and processing of the emotions. Roses was a complete joy to compose and truly reflects my journey to a conscious and balanced state. To me, Los Angeles is a gift I gave myself. It was a blank slate to finally confront my emotional, physical and financial health. The result is Roses. The result is abundance and joy. I’m holding the light up now, and roses are falling all around”.
