We are excited to announce "staggered start" entry for KDG. students for the 2024 - 2025 school year. Please save the dates listed below. (Kindergarten kids ONLY will start the school year divided into three small groups).

Wed 8/21 Students with last names A-I will report to school

Thur 8/22 Students with last names J-Q will report to school

Fri 8/23 Students with last names R - Z will report to school

On Monday 8/26 ALL Kindergarten students will come together as a whole for the remainder of the year.

💙PBIS Student Advisory Team💛
On May 17th, the PBIS student advisory team along with our PBIS coaches, Ms. Green and Mrs. Onuffer attended the student summit at the AIU.

The students participated in ice breakers to meet students from other schools, completed a team activity by providing ideas to improve our school’s PBIS program, and performed the Homeville Hustle! They did a fantastic job learning and presenting. 🎉

🍦MAY Kindness Club 🎉
During the May Kindness Club meeting, the Kind Kids wrote kind messages on the rocks and decorated the rock garden in front of our school.

They were also recognized for their participation in all of this year’s Kindness Club activities and were provided a participation certificate and special treat!🍦

A special thank you to Miss Vicki from Dell’s for her generous donation of a free soft serve ice cream to help celebrate all the ways the kids spread kindness like confetti throughout our school and the community.

Congratulations to the Veterans Coloring Contest:Brelynn Bailey, Sonny Sil, Cali Coleman and Conner Magwood. Thanks to Mr.Krebs and all the Veterans for providing this for our students. 🇺🇸

Homeville had an amazing Fun Day today. A good time was had by all. Special thanks to Mrs.Steele,Mrs.Powers and all the PTA volunteers for making today possible.

Congratulations to our third grade students. The showcase today was awesome! Kudos to all the students, Mr. Stanley, Mr.Kosko, Mrs.Stupakis,Mrs. Johnston,Mrs.Bandik, Ms. Green, Mrs.Graham, Ms.Newmyer,Mrs.Rader and both Mrs.Smiths. Great job! 👏

🌎APRIL Kindness Club🌎
Do you know that EARTH DAY is on April 22nd? The April Kindness Club meeting was full of projects to spread kindness to our planet EARTH!

The Kind Kids began painting rocks for the Homeville rock garden, made a craft with a promise to Earth, and picked up trash around our school to help keep our school grounds safe and clean.

The Kind Kids also did a bonus project to wish the 3rd Grade “Smartie Students” good luck on the PSSA tests coming up next week!

Homeville students wore blue to support Autism Awareness Month. 🩵💙

Chick-Fil-A celebrates Sunshine days with Homeville students. Chick-fil-A at The Waterfront recently held their Sunshine Days at their store. This is a national campaign where they spread some sunshine to their guests. As a part of this, all Homeville students received a sunshine card. Student’s will get a free kids meal coupon for themselves and a coupon for a treat they can give to someone else and spread their own sunshine. Thank you to Ms.Johnston for coordinating this activity.
