It doesn't feel like it's time, but IT'S ALMOST TIME FOR SCHOOL! So it is time for Robotics Club planning! This year we are planning to hold a beginner and advanced club meeting on the same day each month! Our advanced group will be working with our new expansion packs. Most of our advanced group will be made of those members returning from last year. Please email [email protected] if you have questions about beginner/advanced. Registration will take place at our first meeting! Can't wait to see everyone!
And as always, we are SO THANKFUL for Drax for sponsoring our Robotics Program!
This is a great idea for the educational display contest at the Ark-La-Miss Fair! Any shooting sports members interested in working together on a display??? Check out the comments on the original post.
County fair season is here, a time for youth to celebrate their accomplishments and showcase what theyโve learned throughout the year.
Share photos of 4-H Shooting Sports projects youโre entering in the fair.
Showing livestock is a sport. And just like other sports, there are different seasons. Some market animal exhibitors show in the summer and even attend training camps.
At their first summer show, Ouachita 4-Hers Braelyn Hearne placed 5th in junior showmanship, and Jaxon Hearne placed 4th in novice showmanship. At her recent training camp, Braelyn earned Champion in showmanship. Congrats to these two on their practice and placings! ๐
It will be fair season before we know it! If you have been considering showing animals, feel free to reach out through email at [email protected] or phone at 318-323-2251.

Help us decorate our Coronation Ceremony! Bead art can be made by gluing Mardi Gras beads to a board in a design! Winning designer in each category will win a small (but royal) prize!
As we not-so-patiently await the Krewe of Clovers results that will be posted Monday, we are asking for two things!
We are looking for a "Float Sponsor" who would allow us to use their trailer for the Krewe de Riviere parade on January 27th. Sponsor's name would be featured in our coronation program and on the float.
And we are asking for any beads you have that you'd be willing to donate! We will use some Krewe of Clovers funds to purchase throws, but every little bit helps us save that money to send more youth to camps and events!
Thank you so much to the members who turned in decorated Christmas cards! There were 48 cards donated. THANK YOU! They will be delivered this weekend, and I know they will be loved and appreciated!
Results are posted below! 1st place winners, we will get your Candy Cane Lane passes to you next week, as well as other place prizes and certificates.
Today is the day! Krewe of Clovers votes and forms are due today at the office by 4:30 closing time! Thank you so much to those of you who have raised money for such an awesome cause!
