We were thrilled to see this guy on the field again this past weekend!!

The Big Whit 77 Foundation held its annual Wish List Event at the Smiles playground at Kiroli park. 10 families were chosen from Ouachita and Lincoln parish to join us for a day of encouragement and family fun! As an added bonus, families were surprised to learn they would receive Christmas gifts for their children (31 in all)! A HUGE Thank you to our sponsors Jamie Orten, Kenny Guillot, James Breaux, and Matt Nelson.

Its WORLD ADOPTION DAY! We are so thankful to be a part of many local families adoption journey. Thank you to ALL the families who have committed themselves to adoption. We CELEBRATE YOU!

I know it may seem contrary to celebrate loss, but I see it as a day to celebrate the hope we have and give a voice to those who don’t have one! Reading all the posts, stories, and even thinking of those still not adopted can be heavy. What hope we have in this: “The deepest and strongest foundation of adoption is located not in the act of humans adopting humans, but in God adopting humans. And this act is not part of His ordinary providence in the world; it is the heart of the gospel.” -John Piper. (See Galatians 4:4-7). We care because WE have been greatly cared for in Jesus. 💓🙌🌎
